Tim Howes
A contrarian at heart, Tim helps companies in a wide range of industries survive and prosper by rethinking  their operations. In his nearly 15 years in management consulting and professional speaking, Tim uses his two main strengths to help clients find financial success: his ability to think holistically across the distinct functional components of emerging enterprises and migrating best practices between 25+ industry sectors.

In addition to his consulting and speaking duties, Tim is Assistant Professor of Management at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, where he designs and develops seminal courses in finance and entrepreneurship. His peers recently voted him 2008 Educator of the Year on top of the 2007 Leadership of the Year award.

Tim holds a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of New Hampshire. He is also a member of the American Management Association.

Geoffrey Gaughan
As our resident trademark expert, Geoff has spent the last 20+ years assisting companies of all sizes expand into emerging markets around the world. Geoff also played an instrumental role as counsel to Planet Fitness, in growing the company from 4 to 500 units under two brands.  Geoff uses his pragmatic, common-sense approach to help solve many of the challenges facing his clients.

Geoffrey’s educational credits include a BA degree from the University of Notre Dame and JD from Suffolk Law School in Boston.

Jane Howes
As the creative genius www.expansionadvice.com, Jane has spent the last 15 years helping firms create, market and promote products and services as diverse as state tourism, real estate auctions and children’s toys. Jane uses an inventive, yet sensible approach to develop campaigns that energize clients’ brands and just as importantly, bottom line ROI.

Jane graduated from Temple University in 1989 with a degree in theater and is a member of AFTRA.
